It has an HD version on iTunes currently (courtesy of Criterion), which - if Scanners, Eraserhead et al are anything to go by - would indicate an upgrade to blu at an as-yet unannounced date too!

I hope my library gets blu-ray copies because I'd definitely like to give it another try (some 10 + years later), but consider yourself warned.

also Pro-B gave a 'not so good' review for the PQ for one of the other films in the sets. don't know if that sways your decision making process.
I enjoyed Les Miserables so I have no problem watching a musical style film. I can understand how some may not enjoy that type of film though.

Personally, I can't wait for this set. In spite of the problematic LOLA restoration it has "release of the year" written all over it.
You have definitely peaked my interest. Seems like a no brainer during the B&N sale!

Satyajit Ray remains one of my biggest blindspots. Haven't seen one yet. Netflix has a few available, unfortunately none of the blus yet. :/

I forgot to add this to my recent order Shipping adds too much to the overall total for just one film so it will wait until the next Criterion Flash Sale.

Keep an eye on Ebay for the Toshiba BDX1100, I paid £38 for a brand new one at the beginning of this year, and that price included next day courier delivery!

Any ideas about the announcement in 5 days?
Have all the clues of the drawing been identified and released?

I thought Raisin in the Sun turned out to be something else? The Big Chill?

And wasn't Wild Child Macbeth? (That clue was the person on the rug with the knife and blood, yeah?
