It's because the films are on separate discs on DVD, so they have unique numbers in that format and the spine numbering has to stay consistent on Blu-ray.

I'm definitely in for L'Avventura, It Happened One Night, and Tootsie. I'll watch the Monte Hellman films on Amazon Instant Video, as they are available for free and I don't really like his films, and I'll try to track down Les Blank on some other video streaming website so that I don't have to buy it, as it seems like something I wouldn't enjoy.

Yeah, this is my second playthrough on the PS4 version and I agree. My favorite game of the decade.

Also, I can't believe this month. October was killer, I think November is my favorite month based off of L'Avventura alone. Ahhhhh!!!!

Nobody has added The Shooting/Ride in the Whirlwind to a list yet.

I know it means that nobody has posted or added The Shooting/Ride in the Whirlwind on to their list. But I find it kind of ironic that The Shooting has made it on to the list of Dead Man's 'Nobody's' Damn, if this isn't omen that I should pay my respects to the Acid Western sub genre, then I don't what is.

Looks like a viewing of Dead Man and another reading of Blood Meridian is in order.

Twilight Time has a better slate of films coming for November.

Tootsie is one of the most respected Modern Hollywood Comedies. It is #2 behind Some Like it Hot on AFI's top 100 Comedies of all time. There is a reason everyone is excited about it, it is a magnificent film.

if it is as revered as you say, I'd imagine that it's original studio would have released the movie.
