Still disappointed in the lack of Inland Empire but glad they're finally releasing Mirror

Definitely getting Tarkovsky's "Mirror".

Might get "Working Girls". I'm a sucker for those low budget, 70s-80s NYC gritty films. I remember it from the VHS days, but remember it was mostly softcore with air noise on the soundtrack, LOL.

"Deep Cover" I have on DVD. I saw it in the theater back in the day. Not sure if I'll upgrade it or anything. It's pretty much just a B movie action picture.

La piscine is great. More Alain Delon is what I'm always talking about. I've never seen Deep Cover, but have always been meaning to, so I'll buy that as well. Jeff Goldblum as a villian is always interesting.

Still waiting for Bondarchuk's WATERLOO (1970).

Much shorter, more historically accurate and a helluva lot more entertaining than WAR AND PEACE...

While I'm primarily interested in Bringing Up Baby and La Piscine, the others look interesting too.

Mirror and Bringing Up Baby?

Yes, please.

Now I can complete the Tarkovsky collection.

Deep Cover? What a weird choice. Seems more like an Arrow title.

Deep Cover intrigues me, so I'm down.
Gotta start my Hawks collection so might as well nab and up my dvd of Bringing Up Baby.
And hell yes for The Mirror. I swear a reddit user posted the exact cover a few weeks ago too.

Maybe Armond White is consulting.

He loves Deep Cover, if I remember correctly.

I think it's just the Janus poster with the Criterion template thrown on top.

Wow, I'm getting every single one. Love all of the covers too.

Especially excited for Mirror & Working Girls.

Makes up for June which was the most disappointing in a while, probably the only month in a couple years where I didn't plan on getting any title.

Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
Who's the fairest of them all.

I've got 2 copies in my stall,
Neither great so I'll buy more.

Damn it, this'll be my 3rd copy and hopefully the final. 1st copy was wrong region; 2nd copy is DVD so not the greatest quality.

Deep Cover is a good crime thriller, I saw it at the theatre when it first came out but I don't know if it's something I'd want to pay Criterion prices to own.

La Piscine is a great film though, glad to see it finally getting a North American blu-ray release. I'll definitely pick that one up at some point.

Bressonaire at the Criterion Forum predicted it, and he's usually right on at least one prediction. He also predicted Working Girls.

Plus, the Tarkovsky connection in general mixed with the Janus release recently made it kind of inevitable.
