As expected, since today is a holiday and they didn't announce on Friday.

They should just announce one or occasionally two titles, weekly.

The latter will at least be getting a UK BD from MUBI (the former likely will too, but probably not until the autumn.)

RIP to the artist. But they should still keep up with drawings, maybe in a different art style.

As I suggested earlier in the thread, I don't think the problem is the art style. It's 1) getting a top artist, 2) who is good at coming up with puzzles, 3) during a pandemic when a lot of staff is still not even in the office, much less interviewing new artists. Honestly, I don't know if we'll ever see anything like it again - it was so closely tied to the original artist.

The webpage for 'For All Mankind' has now been updated to add new screenshots, as well as a scene. They only add new screenshots to a page when it's going to be upgraded, so expect this to be a 4K release.

Okay, this is a really welcome news. Let's hope that they will announce more 4Ks today.

I haven’t seen The Informer, but it involved NASA? That’s out of this world interesting!

The early days, when going to the moon was but the dream of an Irish drunk.

The connection is, like, deep, man.

Deep deep, like the deep end of the bottle of whiskey.

Here's hoping we get some really exciting titles. I know it's just me, but so far this year's output hasn't been of much interest to me. That being said, I'm glad for the people that have been enjoying the titles announced so far.

I think there's a high number of fully capable artists who could do it - pandemic or not - if it was something Criterion was interested in continuing. At this time, they obviously are not.

Hoping for something interesting to be announced today.

I don't expect any new Scorsese (After Hours, etc.) because they just announced a Scorsese (The Last Waltz) last month, for March.

Always hoping for Pasolini, but who knows?

Would love "Dersu Uzala".

Oh well, I basically never get any of my wishlist stuff these days.

Hopefully, they'll surprise me with something interesting, at least. We'll see...

So...today is the day they announce the 4K boxset of all of Kurosawa's films, huh?

It really depends on whether or not the artist was creating the puzzle or not. That's a surprisingly specialized skill. I couldn't do it.

Or an Ozu boxset in 4K, no less! We know there are 4K remasters out there! Come on Criterion, deliver us the goods!
