I don't see Lost Highway listed on Janus's site (...yet, or so I hope). This would look miraculous in 4K.

Been tempted to buy that Kino disc. I suppose I'll stay put with my German blu til a 4k is announced.

My main frustration with the Kino release is the poor SDH. If Criterion does in fact release it in 4K, I’ll definitely double dip.

I've got a question. If Network (1976) will receive a 4K UHD which company should distributed it. Criterion or Kino?

It's with Warner, so it wouldn't be Kino.

Maybe Criterion or Warner themselves.

Correct. I've gotten an email earlier than 8 PM EST for the last 6 flash sales. Have gotten nothing today, and no indicators on social media, so for the moment I have to assume the flash sale won't be this week either.

Agreed it's looking bleak for this week though I'll still be checking before Noon just in case.

Otherwise out one more week which will place it 2nd latest ever (assuming) and it's never gone beyond the 2nd Tues in March. I know some folks were hoping for a delay to get Adoption eligible for the sale and give them one more week to work on Hard Days Night

Yeah, at this point I won't complain if it means Adoption will be in the sale...or maybe they'll even time it with the Le cercle rouge 4K at this point. Would not expect that though since there's no precedent I can find for it being that late.

I guess there always has to be a 1st time and honestly moving it to mid-late March wouldn't be a bad thing given the Oct date and the Nov/July BN sale.
I always figured a March sale would even things out a lot anyway -- either the Flash Sale or moving the July BN sale to April/May instead of having 3 half price sales in the space of 4 months and only 1 the rest of the year.

OTOH -- if they are going to move it later, it would be really really nice to let someone know 'it's coming' to prevent the teeth gnashing and whispers of "are they cancelling the 50% off sales" from gaining too much traction.

I recently had to isolate for 7 days with Covid. I'm fully vaccinated, but still got pretty sick. I used some of the time to watch some Criterions that I bought during the last sale but haven't seen yet. I figured I would document it here.

Blue is the Warmest Color is the most surprising. Remember when a 2nd release with bonus features was said to be forthcoming?
