Looking at the Criterion.com list these are the states they aren;t doing tax in yet
ID, IA, MS, NM, ND. OK. SC. SD, WY

plus the 5 states with no official state sales tax

Had two $10 Criterion Channel "thank you" certificates and a $25 gift certificate from my delightful sister-in-law, so the total cost on these (with tax) was right around $20 for me.

I’ve been buying from these sales since 2011 and today is one of my favorite orders:

thanks for the recommendation on sternberg. going in blind, but they seem cool. i know i said silent films, but the 6 movie box set deal just seems like a too good of a deal to pass up. if i like em, i'll grab the 3 silent classics set next time.

and grabbed le samourai - it's a favorite that's been missing from my collection.

oh and what do you guys think are the chances for an updated/maybe 4k version of the antoine doinel box set? still dvd only

I'm sure you're already done shopping, but you really can't go wrong with any of the silents they've put out. Chaplin and Hitchcock go without saying of course, and the Von Sternberg set is fantastic (The Last Command being my favorite), but Häxan and Master of the House deserve mention as well. I wish they'd put more silents out on blu-ray. I'm not sure when their last one was. Looks like The Cameraman back in 2020. Also worth getting, with a great finale.

Do we think there’s anyway Disney would let Criterion have Dead Presidents? Since Criterion already released The Hughes Brothers first and previous movie, Menace II Society..

I've been enjoying seeing what everyone else has been getting. Reminds me of more titles I'm interested in. At work now so only placed 1 order so far but it's something I've been wanting for awhile:

Order number 2 tonight when I get home and can use some gift cards.
