Didn't know if anyone here is a fan, but I just ordered one of the 1000 limited editions available in the US. So my massive Criterion buying days are definately behind me now.

I added a pick of the main Blu-ray shelf I have. It's overflowing as you can see so I have to go buy a second one now. I own maybe 60 or 70 DVDs (that are not on this shelf) which are mostly just Disney movies that my wife and kids wanted. The only ones I really have are the 3 extended Lord of the Rings sets.

I'll see if I can add some picks of my speaker/TV setup.

EDIT: Got some pics of my setup added as well.

Odd, when I click on your gallery page all I see are big white squares with small red "x"s in them. :/ I don't know if this is just my computer.

Hmmm - really the 1st time i've used the gallery. The pics seem to show for me. Anyone know if there is there some kind of private vs public setting - I can't find one.

Just picked up Seven Samurai 3-disc box. It was quite a struggle to get the 'insert' out of the box. Turns out they accidentally included 2 of the ~30 page booklets, making it a very tight fit.

Any suggestions of what to do with the extra booklet?

I can't imagine anyone hear has an idea about the cases for October's releases, yet. We usually find out the packaging when pro-b gets his review copies or Chris over criterionforum.org posts pictures of the packaging, which he does regularly. Again, though, October is too far off in the distance for anyone but Criterion "insiders" to know for sure. We can only pray for the plastic cases.

I'm guessing that you're trying to link to something that either requires you to have a password (yours personally) or there in some format that you have proprietary software for.......

Save them to your desktop in the format they suggest, and then just upload them from there

Well I figured out how to look at them thanks to Beta Man. And wow, you have a HUGE collection of Blurays! Good job.

Is there a forum or person on the site where I could ask about it? I noticed that I had the same problem when trying to view my gallery from another browser. It looks like some kind of permission problem to me but I don't see anywhere to set any permissions.
