Arsenic & Old Lace...finally on blu...and back in the Criterion Collection, to boot. I am over the moon.

And, as if October needed to be any better, Eve's Bayou. That is one solidly great movie.

It seems like a southern gothic vibe, I think last fall it was more about folk horror.

Always possible so I'll be watching, but it's been the 3rd Tuesday in Oct for several years now so Oct 18 has been the target date --- 6 in a row if you count the one year it was the 3rd Monday but they moved all the Tuesday releases to Monday so they'd be eligible.

And the BN sale should start a couple week later if some reason it's missed.

After Hours is probably the most requested Criterion title probably followed by a Kurosawa boxset and Pat Garrett. Pat Garrett is coming soon enough at least. Wouldn't be surprised if that was part of the November slate as well as the Heroic Duo/Executioners.

Agreed. Arsenic and Old Lace instantly becomes my most anticipated release of the year. The rest is gravy. Charge!

I'm a little disappointed in Lost Highway. I already have that doc on DVD but where are the deleted scenes? Lynch cut his own cameo as a morgue attendant

The rational side of me knows that I do not actually need a 4K UHD Blu-ray of Night of the Living Dead, but the fun-loving horror fan side of me knows that I do.

Criterion could also include a UHD for Drive, He Said/A Safe Place. It's not Thanksgiving without a turkey.

It's the 30th anniversary of Scent of a Woman, and Pieces of April still needs a BD.

For whatever its worth, I found more to like about Drive, He Said than I did Netflix's new Hustle.
