This is probably the fastest turnaround between Janus releasing the restored film in theaters, and it coming to BD that I can recall. It doesn't even open until August 19th at IFC Center, before its rollout to other cities starting on August 26th.

I remember really disliking Daisies when I watched it. Will not be upgrading that, but I can appreciate how important the film is and I am glad it is being released in 4K.

Like MifuneFan, I am hoping for Petite Maman (and/or earlier Sciamma stuff, especially Water Lillies which is insanely overpriced on DVD and I've always had that on my Wants list).

I was sooooo hoping for some Pasolini from Criterion this year, seeing as how it was his Centennial....

I guess the only thing they did for him was, back in March, they had a ten-film program for him on the Criterion streaming Channel.

I was hoping for a physical release of some kind this year, but maybe not.

And I hope others are wrong about "After Hours". It would be a tentpole release for them, so I'd hope for a standout month like November.

They previously DID release three Scorsese releases within seven months. Plus a World Cinema set. Although two of those were brand new movies. ('Scorsese Shorts' was May 2020, 'The Irishman' was November 2020, and 'Rolling Thunder Revue' was Jan. 2021. Plus, there was a World Cinema set that Sept. of 2020).

Anyway, looking like I might not get any of my wishlist stuff for November (big surprise; it's been a good while since I got any of my wishlist stuff from Criterion; since at least 2020).

Completely random note, I sadly doubt we're getting the Three Colors 4K set since the pages for the films haven't been updated like the page for Daisies.
