I’d have to see the features first but Showgirls could be a really interesting release. No doubt they’d 4K that one.

Probably no chance of this happening, but The Hidden would be an interesting release IMO.

People would probably feel deflated if they're expecting Twin Peaks or Showgirls though.

Personally I'm hoping for an UHD of Showgirls. My #2 choice would be The Trigger Effect.

Is the Warner Archive release that bad for The Hidden that people think a Criterion would be improved?

Sometimes people are in the office to film segments for Adventures in Moviegoing on the Criterion Channel. It doesn't necessarily mean he was there regarding a release... let alone a Twin Peaks release.

Maybe, but since he's made coffee an ongoing obsession in his own life, just because he mentions it doesn't necessarily mean that it's related to Dale Cooper. Guess we'll see.

Haven't seen that film in a long time and would like to see it again! Ebert's review was spot on:

Bela Tarr's "Werckmeister Harmonies" (2000) is maddening if you are not in sympathy with it, mesmerizing if you are. If you have not walked out after 20 or 30 minutes, you will thereafter not be able to move from your seat.

Fire Walk With Me is a 4k master too isn’t it? Seems to me that’s at least as inevitable an upcoming upgrade as Blue Velvet, and far more likely than a series and/or Return box set.
