I'll take either one. Night of the Living Dead will soon be mine.

These handouts are almost always a precursor to a site sale, so it's likely a lock for the next Flash Sale will be next Tuesday the 11th.
Thanks for the heads up about the coupon. I totally glanced over it in my email

holy crap is anyone experiencing this:

whenever I get a new criterion these days for months now the goddamn cover sleeve is either sticking up out of the plastic or sticking out of the bottom of the plastic sleeve and there's tearing on the corners of the cover art sleeve from not being protected by the plastic sleeve. These are mostly all preorders/fresh shipment and it even happens for back catalogue orders. What the hell is going on? and CC currently doesn't even offer replacement cover art at all. I'm sick of returning these on the chance I might get a copy where the cover sleeve isn't sticking out so bad. This has happened with almost every new release I've gotten since April possibly longer.

Sounds like quality control issues.

They’ve replaced case art and packaging for me several times, but those were unique packaging, not in standard cases.

Apparently Best Buy are now carrying Criterion titles. Well, at least the NOTLD 4K as I saw on a recent Youtube video. At a time when brick & mortars are drastically cutting back on their physical media footprint it just seems incredibly odd to see that.

I see this a lot on ones I pick up. I usually just slide the slip back down and the tears aren’t really noticeable.

Are you saying the corners are getting torn while it is still in the shrink-wrap?

Or do the exposed corners get tears after you remove the shrink-wrap?

Thinking about the flash sale. I know titles sell out during B&N sales, but does this happen during site flash sales? Just wondering how fast I'll have to get my Lost Highway order in that day.

Popular titles have sold out early on, but sometimes come back later on. Criterion usually posts the ones going fast on their site.

Does anyone know if Criterion lost the rights to some of the Japanese titles they've Released on DVD like Red Beard or Samurai Rebellion etc.
I was just curious if any of those films would ever get a Blu-Ray release

Thanks for any info!!

The DVDs are still in print, so it's safe to say that Criterion still has the rights to them.
