Damn. I'm a huge Pasolini fan, but $200 is pretty steep for me. I already have most of those movies on UK blu-ray. Still, though, I see myself taking the plunge at some point.

Those links actually don't seem to take me to any specific videos. Not sure if it's my browser or your links. Either way, the restoration process is an interesting extra I usually take the time to watch if it's present on the disc. I don't browse the internet with an HDR capable monitor, so having on disc is preferred for me.

Or maybe... the fact this type of set is being announced now indicates a chance for a massive Akira Kurosawa set by December.

I hope so. I love all of the director's sets they put out like this. I've held off getting any new Kurosawa stuff for years hoping for a new box set.

Criterion

Imagine that box set after a nice 30% off, cut-from-center fillet.

I'm really liking Criterion's trend of catching up on DVD to Blu upgrades by packing them in box sets like this, Von Trier, and Bunuel.

This is a definite July B&N pick up.

Wow, that's a nice surprise. Glad to see Criterion do another large director-themed set.

Maybe March 23 we will get one for a director whose birth was 113 years ago!

I want a Bunuel set probably more than any other director, although they already fulfilled my previous dream with the Ingmar Bergman set…

I know this post is probably a joke but reading it still gave me liver failure.
