Criterion

One of these days Criterion will release a Marx Brothers film on blu-ray and the half off code will be SWORDFISH. I can dream!

Nice, just in time for Inland Empire. Going to get that, plus the 4Ks of Three Colors and The Adventures of Baron Munchausen.

I’ve done it a few times. What do you want to know?

Use the cheapest shipping; keep order total under $135; declare correct value or near it. Simple!

I'm going to give in and buy The New World in the sale. You're welcome for the 4K upgrade being announced in April

Might be safe with Malick. In the past there always seemed to be a hint or a strong rumor of an upcoming release. I don't think there's been any UHD rumors with his movies.

Thanks for the tips!

What's the reason for keeping the total under $135? I was thinking of spending a bit more than that.

Below that there’s no import duty and highly unlikely to incur VAT and the dreaded handling fee. No guarantees of course

Edit: £135... HMRC

Also just got the $10 gift card email. I got a $50 gift card just after the last sale because I hit $500 in purchases, plus another $10 gift card I got from them around Christmas.

I now have $70 worth of gift cards, gonna go buck wild in this sale lol. Plan on grabbing:

Adventures of Baron Munchausen 4K
Dazed and Confused 4K
Devil in a Blue Dress 4K
Mildred Pierce 4K
Romeo and Juliet
Summertime

£135 is $164 so I should juuust squeak under with these:
Dazed and Confused 4K
The Red Shoes 4K
Lost Highway 4K
Virgin Suicides 4K
Three Colours 4K

Not 100% about the last two since the UK Virgin Suicides 4K looks like it might be a good one and there's a Curzon Three Colours set next month... Decisions decisions.

I'd love these as well. Apparently he's said in the past in an interview he doesn't want special features on his movies. That being said, a double feature set that's maybe slightly cheaper since it doesn't have any extras would work for me. Especially if they were on 4k.

Yes, multiple codes may be used. At least that's the way it worked in the past.
