That's my name too

..But that line (particularly the other part of it), which I believe is in the first minute of the pilot ep. completely sold me on the show, and it soon became one of my favorites of all-time.

I was thinking of buying just one using the most recent $10 code they sent but then I suddenly remembered that I had more unused codes. Upon entering them I ended up having 40 in credit so I bought three and it all came to a total of $30 with free shipping. I've never bought so many Criterions for such a low price

Probably wishful thinking, but Criterion usually gives us some good stuff in October in time for Halloween but man it would be pretty nice if we get a boxset of all the Toho kaiju films that Criterion has. I've been waiting for a Blu-ray of Matango for what seems like a lifetime.

Even after having my cart ready to go and a $10-off cert, decided to hold off until the July B&N sale. Going to try to get through more of a backlog before then. Not to mention that by July, I'll want to pick up most of the May and June slates, plus whatever is set for that month.

(I would have picked up Baron Munchausen 4K, Inland Empire, and Three Colors 4K)

Now that I think of it, I wouldn't be surprised if July and November feature some 4Ks to tie in with anniversaries like 8 1/2 and Videodrome, perhaps even the long-rumored Mean Streets.

Just watched For All Mankind, and it was totally worth it.

Of course, there's the Brian Eno music. And it was good to hear the astronauts talking like normal people as they try to describe their incredible experience; that humanized the whole thing more than I've ever seen.

There's a slight tint of imperialism in some of the language, the same attitude that landed us in Vietman, but seeing and hearing the basic humanity behind getting to the moon was flat-out moving. Think you'll enjoy that one.
