I'd much prefer they prioritize upgrading films that are still stuck on DVDs or BDs that don't have a 4K source. Upgrading BDs with 4K scans to UHD is a much lower priority for me.

I hope for a Kurosawa Blu-ray collection alongside either a Truffaut collection and/or Doinel 4K box-set (maybe both) more than anything else on my wish-list. I could see Criterion releasing a massive career-spanning Kurosawa Blu-ray set (similar to the DVD only version produced many years ago) and release only a select few on 4K UHD as standalone editions (similar to what Criterion did with the Bergman set perhaps - with a standalone 4K of The Seventh Seal).

More Classic Hollywood titles. While I'm not opposed to upgrades, I'd rather see DVD to 4K upgrades and not blu ray to 4K upgrades. Those aren't significant enough to me to warrant purchasing another copy. But mostly, I'd love NEW classic hollywood titles to be added to Criterion.

I think this is my most wanted DVD Criterion upgrade at this point. Such a fantastic film and the quality of the gif reminds me that it already has a good HD transfer. Followed by Fire on the Plains, which is one of the best anti-war films and works very well with The Human Condition Trilogy.

Titles that Criterion has that never got a DVD or Blu-ray release that I would like to see are Hunter in the Dark, Bandits Vs Samurai Squadron, Under The Blossoming Cherry Trees, Demon Pond, Heat Wave, and the list goes on and on...

One title I really wanted to get from the sale was Pale Flower. I have never seen it, but it has been sitting on my wish list for over a decade. I read earlier that there's a Blu-ray out in France that uses a new 4K restoration. Hopefully, Criterion will give us a 4K release in the very near future.

The Straight Story while I am buying imprints Blu Ray of this which is exciting I hope Criterion releases this on Blu Ray too

A Simple Plan while I am buying the Japanese Blu Ray of this I think either Criterion or Arrow will release this on Blu Ray in the US this year.

Risky Business is one of those movies that I still need to get around to. I had a college class where Curtis Armstrong came to talk about his time during that era (he mostly spoke about Moonlighting, since we watched an episode of that in class), but he did say he had fond memories of Risky Business. That was about 7 years ago, so I'm definitely overdue of a watch of that.
