Fear And Loathing, Bound, and Blue Velvet in July, the rest eventually. At this point, I’m not buying the standard Blu-rays of Lynch’s films, since I know that 4Ks will eventually happen.

As for Bound, is this the first Olive title that Criterion picked up?

Even though the 4K of Taxi Driver is hard to find, the laserdisc remains one of the few Criterion laserdiscs to be retired, as there’s nothing unique content on the disc that requires keeping it.

I think both Taxi Driver and Goodfellas will come from Criterion sooner rather than later, the former because of how unreasonably hard it is to buy a copy, the latter because of the awful HDR that effectively destroyed the last 4K.

And whoever is doing Who’s That Knocking At My Door, Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore, and Bringing Out The Dead needs to get on the stick. For reference on how overdue these are, VHS was still a thing when all three of these DVDs were made, and BOTD was actually released day-and-date with the laserdisc, one of the last two laserdiscs ever released in America. It’s high time to bring these to 4K.

The Arrow release is UK only. It's not the first title to have a Criterion 4K release in the US following another label releasing it much earlier in a different market.

I think Criterion had a deal with Lionsgate and/or StudioCanal. Does anyone have any details about that deal?

While I’m obviously still hoping for a 4K of The Third Man, I’d still like to know what else the deal entails.

Caution is always advisable, but the cuts in Bound were made on the instructions of the MPAA to obtain its R-rating, not the film-makers. Criterion's statement is to represent the filmmakers' vision, original or revised, so it's certainly not expected that they will change anything not specifically requested by the filmmakers.

Underground Railroad was a series on Prime, so maybe you can catch it somewhere.
