My order for it during the recent B&N sale was cancelled as they were unable to get stock either. Might have to bite the bullet on this soon, I've not heard any rumblings of this going OOP (unless anyone else has..?).

For parties interested, DVDBeaver now has their review/comparison up for Robinson Crusoe On Mars.

Also... Army Of Shadows is now up over there. I can't wait for this one!

Are you referring to Rocky Horror Picture Show? If so, just watch the US version. The UK version just has an extra song at the end of the film.

Thanks, I meant the Rocky Horror Picture Show. not sure what I was thinking

I suppose I'll wait to the middle of January then and see what happens.

Hi Larry,

Were you able to pay over the phone? They wanted me to send a money order or a check. This is why I still have not placed my order.

PayPal is Criterion's preferred method of payment for the replacement cases, however some people have called up Criterion's offices and made the purchase over the phone via credit card. Unless they've changed this offer, I'm sure you would still be able to purchase them this way. There was a phone number posted in the thread ages ago, so I'm sure you could find it with a search. However, I wouldn't expect anyone to answer until after the new year.

How can you view their inventory total?

I just ordered one. I shouldn't have waited so long. I didn't think it would ever be an issue getting one from Amazon. Ebay only had one seller offering the Blu-ray that I recall. And B&N doesn't have it listed, that I could see.

Of the box set I've only seen Easy Rider, The Last Picture Show and King of Marvin Gardens before. Guess I'll start with Five Easy Pieces. This is a rare case where I prefer the digipak. If were 6 or 7 individual cases it would drain my already small remaining shelf space.

And respond to my e-mails! Not too hard to tell me you don't have the rights to the f'n Last Movie. Not a request. It's a question.

Add a bunch to your cart and if they're not available it will say out of stock.

I just bought the Criterion 'Curious Case of Benjamin Button' on Blu-ray at Blockbuster for $6.99. It came with both discs. I also got the Universal Blu-ray of 'State of Play' starring Russell Crowe for $6.99 as well. I had to put them in some extra Blu-ray cases I have at home of course.

The discs and artwork look just fine with the exception of a small sticker on the spine of CCOBB that wouldn't come off without tearing it so I had to leave it on. Blockbuster is retarded.

I also blind-bought Charade today. I'll watch it once I get through Metropolis and House.
I love Charade, but then again I love Grant and Hepburn...
