Yes, there's only one case I need, and the cheapest shipping option actually costs more than the case itself. Still, I'm pleased Criterion is offering these at all, when almost every other studio could care less if you prefer alternative packaging. Ordered!

i need to order 1 for Gomorrah... hoping they start expanding the # of replacement cases. sometimes people buy 'disc only' ;P

I didnt notice anyone else post about it, but to anyone else that bought up those .01 Criterion's on amazon the other day, I just got an email and they are canceling all of the orders. Pricing error, obviously. Oh well, I got all the upcoming pre-orders at that amazing deal, not sweating it. Woulda been awesome though.

That would be perfect for you. That way you could just buy the cases and skip the discs entirely

Rich, You get charged when the item ships from Amazon. If your Prime runs out before it ships, I think you will not qualify when the title releases, unless of course, you pony up for next year...

Thanks for the heads up jcs...but I thought I remembered having an Amazon Prime trial in the past and they honored the 2 day free shipping for a preorder after the trial had ended.

Could someone please confirm or rebute this for me?

No.... many have received cancellation emails, and many others are still waiting for cancellation emails.

The seller acknowledged the fact that it was an 'error'

I'm really hoping Criterion contacts David Mamet to provide commentary for THE KILLING. Mamet is a HUGE fan of the film (he claims it among the 10 best ever) and could speak very eloquently on it.

Can't wait for the cover, too. I'm really anxious to see if they go with another comic/pulpy cover.

My wife tells me that once the order is placed, that they have to honor the original shipping arrangement...but to placate you guys, I will also check with the Amazon "Help" section.
