Are there two different 'Seven Samurai' out? I saw one at borders with a book included and a bigger sleeve. Is that the same price as the one without the booklet?

Criterion seems to have a good relationship with Maddin and hasn't released a blu from him yet. I was browsing the titles and considered listing it.

Admittedly, I haven't seen Brand Upon a Brain but it's terribly intriguing and in black-and-white

The one I have doesn't have a place holder for the booklet, it is stuck between the digipak holders.

probably the DVD version vs the Blu version? most of the DVD slipcases would have the booklet side by side, where as the blus have been tucked within, for the most part.

I would love this, really underrated musical. But then I'm a Madonna fan so I guess I'm not that objective. But the DVD desperately needs an upgrade and I'm not holding out for anyone else to release it any time soon.

That would be great. I have the LD set for this -- the DVD is garbage.
