A lot of Criterions just dropped in price
Blow Out: 18.99
Kes: 18.99
Army of Shadows: 17.99
Yojimbo & Sanjuro: 28.99
Mikado: 18.99
Topsy-Turvy: 18.99
White Material: 18.99
and much more.

I'd be in for a lot of these but I'm now broke. Hopefully the prices stay where they are until I get paid.

I was hoping The Thin Red Line would also go on sale but it's still 31.49 on Amazon

How much replay value does Blow Out have? I've always wanted to check it out, so I might end up buying it at that price.

Damn, Army of Shadows and Sweet Smell of Success! And BBV is 52 dollars! Cripes.

I think I'm going to get Kes and Circle Rouge. Kes looks like the kind of film I don't enjoy much, but I keep hearing it is Kieślowski's favorite film. Hmm.

Anyone think Kes is worth a blind buy?

Waugh! My copy of The Sweet Smell of Success shipped at 25.99 just this morning, from the order I made on the 17th! Fear and Loathing's still at 27.99 and and Charade's still at 31.99. Augh! It's still cheaper than the 35.99 they wanted on the Canadian site though.

To answer the question regarding F&L, it's the cheapest online at Amazon US, for 27.99, from what I saw.

Paths of Glory just dropped to 17.99 on Blu, and the BBS box set's only 52.99! I'd get PoG, but I just put a cap on myself for buying Blus, as I have 7 coming from Amazon right now, and I bought 8 others last week.

Anyone who doesn't have the BBS set, grab it! I paid 115 back for the BBS set in November on Canadian Amazon, and thought it was worth it at that price point! 7 Criterion films for 53 bucks, including Head, Easy Rider, Five Easy Pieces, and The Last Picture Show!

Apologies for the double post.

I blind-bought Kes. Remember you also get a second feature-length film and commentary on that film in the extras, so for $18.99, it would seem to be an incredible value.
