So, for August Criterion Cast have teased:

Secret Sunshine (Lee Chang Dong)
The Killing
Cul-de-sac
possibly Intimidation (1960 Japanese film noir I've never heard of)

If that's all, it would be a pretty light month. All are definite buys from me eventually. I have the Korean LE of Secret Sunshine, but I sold off The Killing when I found out Criterion would get to it.

The Polanski and Kubrick titles are of less interest, but if the Vigo set and Orpheus trilogy are in blu-ray, august will be great.

Vigo set is DVD only I believe.

The Vigo set, The Battle of Algiers, Orpheus, that Eclipse! Maybe even Cul-de-Sac. My B-day month might be the only month I buy more than 2 releases. Everybody else can have the Kubrick.

The Vigo set looks very nice, especially on blu. Algiers is probably the nicest surprise to me... I honestly have never seen IF, so that may be a surprise as Malcolm usually gives an interesting performance in anything.
