lol, I'm not telling. Although, those that know me are the ones who will know whether I am 100% serious or 100% joking.

My newsletter hint says that everything else will go out of print and they'll only do Kurosawa and Anderson (re)releases from now on.

Speculation is Three Colors Trilogy.

Although, it could also mean an upgrade of a popular spine (i.e. Bicycle Thieves) or.............FIRST RIVETTE SPINE!

Let's hope we get some Rivette first.

Team Rivette vs Team Malick. Who will it be (thinking it's one of these)?

How about one for each? I don't like playing sides with directors. I just want good films.

If they ever had a chance to release Mulholland Drive, I would die a very happy person

That has to be one of my 5 favorite movies of all time..... I can wish, can't I?

Studio Canal released a nice BD of Mulholland Dr. last year. (region B though) I was really hoping that Blue Velvet would be part of the MGM package that Criterion licensed recently. We will have to wait and see.

Now I won't take sides, because I won't buy any of them, I will say I agree with you on Life Aquatic. Only movie of his I don't mind re-watching (well if Bill Murray wasn't in it then I would say Life Aquatic who?).

Speaking of Bill Murray... I know he and Bruce Willis are up here in Rhode Island right now filming Wes Anderson's next film, Moonrise Kingdom. I'm not sure if Edward Norton or any of the other star-studded cast is filming up here, though. I've yet to see anyone out and about.

To be honest, Life Aquatic and Fantastic Mr. Fox have been the only Anderson films I've enjoyed. I'm not hipster/intelligent/whatever enough to appreciate the others. I think the special effects would be kinda awesome on BD, the fish were pretty spiffy on DVD.

If that is where they took those set pics that recently came out (woodland area with Ed Norton in some girl scout, Wes Anderson style clothes) then he is there.

Edit: I answered it, says RI: http://blogs.indiewire.com/theplayli..._wes_andersons

I can't figure out where those shots are located. I'm pretty sure the studio built the camp site for the film, so that wooded area could be anywhere, really.

There is also a 20%-off sale on all posters with the code FSBNDR.

Yep. This kind of surprises me since they already posted the image from Red. it is not like we didn't know this was coming.

For those who haven't seen it:

Those who follow Criterion Twitter etc would already know this was coming. This is no surprise at all. It just comes down to when. Kind of a build up and then nothing we here didn't know. (not that there is anything wrong with that) I will say this was far and away the easiest clue I have ever seen them post. :-)
