Nope, but if you place your B&N.com order instore or with a store clerk over the phone you only pay sales tax. If you buy on the website you'd pay sales tax plus shipping on top of that as well.

You still have to wait on the item to be shipped to you though, you can't just go into a store and get an item off the shelf for the B&N.com price. (Though I don't know why not, as it's all the same company)

It's confusing and arbitrary, I agree, but that's how it is.

I am happy to see 12 Angry Men get a Blu-ray release. (and Criterion to boot) Still not sure what to make of the cover art though.

The Kieślowski box set looks fantastic.

Same here. Unlike some here, I don't have any problem with Wes Anderson in general or Rushmore in particular, but its release on Blu-ray doesn't get me wet. It's more of a "Yeah, maybe I'll eventually pick it up sometime down the road" kinda thing.

The others, though...what a line-up. Doin' the Snoopy dance...

On edit: Something no one's mentioned about 12 Angry Men...not only does it have both the theatrical and TV versions, but it includes another Rose/Lumet TV drama, "Tragedy in a Temporary Town".

I'm not necessarily interested in many of the Eclipse sets. But for even new announcements to be "DVD only" doesn't give me hope that the Nikkatsu Noir set will ever make it's way to blu-ray.

I've recently finished watching the whole Nikkatsu Noir set and I was very happy with the way they looked on my 50" plasma.
I expect they're going to continue putting out these Eclipse sets on DVD, without a blu-ray option, which is why I also decided to pick up other Eclipse sets as well.
Not sure about this Sabu set - I know nothing about the films.
