Usually like 6 titles. Should be at least 1 or 2 more.

Nope, that's it. It just hit Criterion's main page. Pretty early on the announcements this year. Hope that trend keeps up.

I think we're done...December, from what others have said, is usually light. We only had 2 titles announced last year, and only 1 was a new title.

OMFG !!!!!!!! Is there something left to announce? Even if there is not I think Criterion hit a home-run here. Three new upgrades and a new title (Plus it is our first Lubitsch )? Hell yeah, Criterion. I love how they went the extra mile and gave us both Suzuki's spines. Branded to Kill and Tokyo Drifter are an awesome combo. The Lady Vanishes is the icing of the cake. Criterion, always surprising!

December still is a strong month with the MUCH needed upgrades for Tokyo Drifter and Branded to Kill for sure! I have passed on the old DVDs for many years waiting for 16:9 transfers.

the covers are really cool!

All four titles will be day one purchases.

what's your guess on the next Altman blu, will it be Short Cuts?, I don't think Tanner 88' would benefit much on blu being a TV production.

What's the chance of getting the right to licence Nashville, Popeye (Altman's 3 hr.director's cut) or MASH?

You should ask Paramount.

I am really surprised that there is another month without a Chaplin title. Having his film estate with Criterion is great because of the high quality releases so far, but the release schedule is ridiculously slow. Makes you really appreciate what Kino has done with their Keaton titles.

It will be so cool to watch Branded to Kill and Tokyo Drifter for the first time ever on any format- and to see them in HD!

I am in complete agreement...

Great month; I'm interested in all 4 titles! (As I am every month, but this one especially!)

I have, without a doubt, no earthly idea. Nor would I care to speculate.

As usual Criterion doesn't disappoint. None of these were on the radar but all are welcome and will be in my collection.
