I don't hate Anderson, thanks for assuming that. I like Fantastic Mr. Fox (own it) and want Criterion to put out a Life Aquatic BD already. Seriously, you're getting Rushmore in November, another Anderson release in January is too close to that, and too much, too soon.

Been wanting to pick up the universal release of traffic for a while..... Looks like i'll wait a little longer to get the criterion release

I agree. Don't want them to release them all at once.

Oh, and I'll only buy Godzilla for January. A nice light month.

An excellent January lineup, with special regard to Godzilla. Will be buying Moment of Truth, Belle de Jour, and Godzilla.

Haven't noticed A Moment of Truth is a lower priced title due to the lack of extras (MSRP $29.99). This makes the film a lot better deal now. Will probably get it at this sweet price point

. I really like this kind of releases, I sure love supplements but is good to see lesser-known titles being possible although they lack them. Speaking about cheap titles, there hasn't been much talk about Identification of a Woman from Antonioni. It will be around $14.99 in the next sale so I will definitely get it. A really interesting less talked release.

I already own the Studio Canal release of Belle de Jour, so I'll probably pass. I really like the cover art, though.

I wonder if they will eventually release Tristana. I've wanted to see that one for a while, but it seems all of the existing DVDs are pretty poor.

And speaking of Deneuve, I wouldn't mind seeing The Umbrellas of Cherbourg on Blu-ray. The DVD is decent, but it's such a colorful film that I think it would look great in HD.

Nothing about it has really grabbed my interest yet but sometimes that's exactly what half-off sales are for. I can definitely see picking it up at some point.

The January titles are a modest announcement, especially compared to November. THAT'S one hell of a slate.

I might get Godzilla. We'll see how broke I am after the B&N sale and other holiday happenings...

Well, I just got Spartacus, and there was no Criterion announcement.

True, but according to a teaser a couple of months ago it should be coming in 2012. If people read it correctly, Spartacus was one of the 2012 titles listed in the blurry photograph of a piece of paper that Criterion posted.

I hope it does come out next year. Even though I just bought it, I would gladly double dip for what would surely be a superior version.
