In this case, I'm a big fan of Soderbergh, but don't care too much for Traffic. However, releasing a film that is recently released on blu-ray seems absurd. |

popped the disc in and it works like a charm! I've found the Hopscotch Criterion DVD earlier last week also for $2 at the same Goodwill, that one was near mint and complete! |

you do realise that Amazon.com has Criterion cheaper than Amazon.ca even with the exchange on the dollar and shipping costs, right?
also, b&n is great for their sales, it's so much cheaper to buy from them and the US Amazon if you're Canadian. |

I was revisiting several Criterion DVD's this weekend. After watching mon oncle. antoine again, I have confirmed that the film is one of my favorite Criterions. Does anyone here enjoy this film, and does this film stand a decent chance of getting a Blu-ray upgrade in the not too distant future?
The countdown to Island of the Lost Souls is almost finished. ![]() Last edited by Monty70; 10-17-2011 at 01:00 PM. |

Yes, the membership extends to online discounts as well. Although, I've never heard of this trial membership. In my experience, the membership hasn't been worth the cost to me because I only buy from them during these such sales, and I'd at most be only saving the money I spent on the membership (Their membership costs what, about 25?)

Yes it will. However for online, in addition to using coupons you'll only get express shipping which is 2-3 days as opposed to the additional 10% off when buying in store and using coupons. It's trial membership for two months so you don't have to pay the $25 the others are talking about. Once the trial is up just cancel your account. It's quick and easy. I've already done this for the past two sales and it saved me a good deal of money compared to just taking the 50% off sale. You'll need a credit card because it requires you to make a purchase to get the trial membership. One trick for that is to purchase an e-gift card that you can use to buy Criterions.

![]() It was quite nice getting the $40 Criterions for $18 during the %50 off and adding the membership discount ![]() For people wanting to sign up today the Terms & Conditions is here. |
