Ben Gazzara treated objects like women, man!

A great (and very prolific) actor. This is going to make my first BD viewing of Anatomy of a Murder quite bittersweet.

The Tower Theater is showing both Le cercle rouge and Army Of Shadows this month. And on this coming Monday, I'll be seeing Brazil (Director's Cut) there as well.

Just check the story on Wiki, I really like the line up for this one. I never heard of it but like I mention before Gazarra always pass under my radar over the years. Thanks for the recommendation, I added it to my ZIP list, now I just need to be patient since I only have the basic package one movie at a time

I hope you find that Ozu pdf handy...I've only had a chance to read bits and pieces of it. Hopefully if your local library carries them, you can check out the remainder of the CC Ozu films on DVD...namely the Silent Ozu and Late Ozu Eclipse sets, as well as Tokyo Story and the other films released singularly.

I'll be curious to hear what you think...Naruse is your next venture!

Has anyone ever ordered from dvdempire.com before? They have the cheapest price I've seen for La Jetee/SanSoleil ($21.71). I've never heard of them before so i don't know how reliable they are.

It looks like Deep Discount is a bit cheaper (tax included). Although, we all know how DD ships...

I know a while back there was talk of Criterion doing David Fincher's The Game on blu-ray, but haven't heard squat about it since. Anyone have any idea if this will eventually get a Criterion release?

What price do you see at DeepDiscount? I've only seen it there for $25.21.

As far as I know, there hasn't been any news since the interview with Fincher at the beginning of 2011, I'm afraid.
