Hoping for more Blu upgrades this announcement. I felt like last month no offense to the fans but was let down more than ever. Then again one upgrade title how can you win.

I don't think the Valentine's Day sale would have altered it's sales since the sale prices were not in effect for pre-orders, only in stock (and eventually back-ordered) merchandise.

I've been fighting with Nesmith, my car, most of the day, and thus haven't been around to post. Ooops, forgot I'm not supposed to talk about my car here.

Criterion is busy schilling Videodrome, as it's Cronenberg's birthday today, and thus the announcements are delayed.

The video posting from Criterion are more about some sort of special event (birth or death of a director or actor....) they never really mean that weshould expect them to be part of the monthly announcement.

I am thinking it's not going to be a month where I will be making a lot of purchases from but we shall see. Maybe they will surprise me and give me City Lights but I think it's going to be Gold Rush.

I saw Orphee on TFO HD last night, I might just get the Blu-ray at the next sale.

I know many in here will shake in their undies by me saying this but in general I am never really impress by the covers of Criterion. In general covers don't mean much to me but I sometimes feel Criterion try a little too much to be different, like those highschool kids who try to find that obscure music so that they can be different then the rest but in the end still trying to be "cool" by being different!

While I get what you are saying, In my opinion they do a solid job at creating artistic and visually pleasing cover art. It's most certainly better then most of the other companies artwork!

Yeah, their batting average is pretty decent. Every now and again it does seem like they try too hard but I'll definitely take that over not trying at all.
