If only, I am about as un-hip as one can probably get. I see myself more as one of those guys in The Big Bang Theory

Well Criterion made me happy for October by giving me In The Mood For Love, so I will return the favor for the rest of you. My wish for November are

Spartacus
Zodiac
Psycho
On The Waterfront

In the name of cinema all over the world, I hang my head in shame.
Did I say Zodiac? I meant a Criterion Transformers box set. That scene where the robot humps that porn stars leg, cinema at its best.

This is very generous of P@t Mtl to give the last few pages of the Criterion board their wish, but you forgot to add Mulholland Dr.. I'm actually on the same page as the P@t even though I wouldn't mind an On the Waterfront blu in general, doesn't have to be Criterion.. I like Fincher as much as the next 'cinephile', (you didn't know, he's God), but to say Zodiac needs a Criterion release is more than a stretch. I guess I can kinda see where that poster is coming from when Criterion did specifically ask what would 'insert yourself here' want to see released, so honesty is relevant.
I am going to guess Y Tu Mama Tambien could be announced because, c'mon, that should be coming any day now. <-- not interested though, but I'm a gamblin man..

So much hostility here, tis sad

On the other hand, I do wish Criterion would release Titticut Follies. That's such a dark, twisted, scary little movie that has one of the most surreal sensations that you just cannot escape. It deserves a wider and more proper release.

Nope, they're not coming anywhere near me, and tickets would be a fortune, I would imagine, especially since Nez is actually performing with them. First time in 15 years he's done a Monkees tour.

Getting back to November, it's too soon for a Zodiac release anyways, since The Game comes out 2 months prior. Criterion wouldn't do another Fincher release so close together.

Also, there are plenty of "Hollywood" titles I'd like to see Criterion release before Zodiac which have yet to hit DVD, let alone BD. There are also several OOP DVDs I'd like to see Criterion get their hands on for a BD release from MGM. Zodiac can wait.

Just because someone has an opinion that differs from yours, you feel that it's ok for you to ridicule them? Really??
I think the point ccfix may be trying to make is there's no need for Criterion to release Zodiac on blu-ray. The easiest solution is for Paramount to press more discs.

'Titticut Follies' would be amazing. It definitely needs a good release.

I would also love to see Criterion handle 'Don't Look Now'. Mostly because that would means that someone with real knowledge of transfers would work on it and thus guarantee a better PQ than the horrible, horrible UK release. But I have no idea who owns it now (Paramount?) and whether that at all would be realistic.

I just watched Yojimbo last night and it was awesome. My question is how good is the BD of Yojimbo/Sanjuro from Criterion. I am also interested in purchasing the Samurai Trilogy. Any help would be great. I still don't have Seven Samurai either.
