A Safe Place should be buried in the same landfill as the ET Atari game.

Agreed! If that doesn't work, nuke it from orbit!

Once I get my replacement drive, that BD disc won't be going back into Tork for playback. I won't attempt to put the disc into Dolenz the desktop. My Panasonic BD player wasn't bothered by it, but perhaps the Panasonic lacks good taste.

no other explanation could possibly make any sense.
Look on the bright side... A Safe Place looks great!

How is that looking on the bright side? It means you have to watch A Safe Place.

I'll say Picnic At Hanging Rock and The Last Wave in keeping with the recent tradition of December early-catalog upgrades of two titles by one director (i.e., Fuller and Suzuki).

In A Lonely Place has gone to ' A Safe Place'
I bet "Lonely" is a 2013 release. One 2013 release which was mentioned here that I am looking forward to is the original Man Who Knew Too Much with Peter Lorre.
I think there will be news this Friday since its the 14th.
Still hoping for Foreign Correspondent, The Blob or just some classic title that's a little more commercially known...even On the Waterfront sounds appealing.

I'd say 50s is medium. Anything above is Large. Anything above 70 is Very Large.

So is my 42" now considered tiny? I thought it was average. I don't have room for larger and it has great PQ. Bigger isn't always better. It's what you do with it that should count more than size.

You girls always say that, then ten minutes later you're back to pointing and laughing.

Hey just because 32 Inch CRTs were considered "big screen" back in 1999 doesn't mean they're big today.

I would never point and laugh at someone's TV. I do believe that's more of a guy thing, because one guy has already done so.

42" isn't tiny. It's large enough for the room it's in. Trying to buy something bigger because someone else finds it too small is just silly. There's no way I can fit a bigger tv in my room, and I'm at a good enough viewing distance that the size is fine. Why should I get 55"+ tv when I only sit about 5 ft away?

I guess big TVs are replacing cars as far as compensation is concerned.

Yeah, kind of. At least from a home theater perspective it is, anyway.

32-46 is pretty much on the small end and what with projectors being as affordable and so easy to install the larger end can easily be 120+.

I think that fairly puts 50-60 (and maybe even up to 70ish though on a completely emotional, visceral level that almost seems too insane to type) in the middle range for screen size.

Well, don't you even turn it on? Or are you just in awe of its massive size? When I turn my tv on, there are a lot of things I can do with it that involve staring at it such as watching films, short shows, concerts, and video games on a PC and with a console. I can also plug in things to it, such as surround sound system, computers, gaming consoles, video players, and a ntfs HDD that will play music, video, and photographs in a slide show.

I think I overdid it on the snark. Sorry
