Some World Cinema Foundation titles would be really nice (Limite, for example) but I doubt it. I just hope the upgrade is something else instead of Brazil. Not hating on the film but there are plently more "high-profile" titles that are in a more serious need for upgrade.

BTW, Anybody knows where the cheapest place to buy the two Marcel Carne films from?

Wouldn't be the first time people ask for something widely available already. I for one would love to see BDs and mainline releases of Arturo Ripstein (As they have Profundo Carmesi on their Hulu page already) but I have decent to poor DVDs and that should suffice for the time being. I am more excited about discovering new films than having one or two I already own in their super-deluxe-ultimate-anniversary edition

It seems like Criterion waits later and later to announce their releases. You'd think with the whole weekend to finalize everything, they'd have announced the titles sooner.

There have been several Robocop blu rays from MGM but none from Criterion. The reviews havent been impressive enough for me to go and get any Robocop Bluray. either the transfer is weak or hasnt any bonus materials. And I really am trying to avoid owning multiple copies of the same movie if possible. Of course there are exceptions, sadly for me too many exeptions. I own several versions of King Kong, Godzilla, Wizard of Oz, & Casablanca. A lot has to do with packaging and extras.

So here's what I'm thinking: Criterion put up all of those director pages last month, and this month, it is taking so long because they're filling them up with all of the December releases!!! Lynch boxset, Mann's Thief, etc...
