Don't know, but they've got such low prices. I just bought another item from this seller for $1 (even though all the other sellers have it for over $10). I figured it was a low enough price to take whatever 'risk' there...
Anyway, I'm actually curious to know your thoughts on the films in this set. |

Something is very wrong with that seller's store, they are going to wake up to a big surprise tomorrow. Hundreds of orders they will likely have to cancel. If I get the thing I just bought for $1, you'll be able to hear me laughing maniacally and crapping my pants from anywhere on the planet.

Has anyone here had any problems with the blu-ray for Summer Hours? I bought it a while ago (last B&N sale probably) and just got around to watching it. It all of a sudden came to its own pause somewhere between 51:00 and 52:00. Then I tried to fast forward and it was a bit "jumpy" and I couldn't actually get it to play until a little after the one hour mark.
Has anyone contacted Criterion directly about a faulty disc? How was that experience? I've been wanting to watch this movie for a long time and I finally had the time tonight. ![]() |

I looked at the data side of the disc and didn't see any scratches specifically. I don't think I have the proper kind of cloth to wipe discs. (Normally not an issue because I am very careful with them.) Thanks for your input. |

Heh. Usually when something like this happens to a seller, I don't feel too sorry for them when I think about all the work they'll have to do to undo it. The reason being that I usually attribute these things to sellers using automated software to undercut other sellers' prices by a penny or two (which to me is cheating) and that software going haywire in some way.

Anybody gotten any communications from Criterion in response to any problems lately? I emailed Mulvavey regarding my black and unreadable cover art on The Game two or more weeks ago, and heard nada. I bought it from Amazon, but I'm afraid if I exchange it I'll just get another one of the same. Think it's worth emailing again?
