Yeah, Broadcast News is pretty incredible in my book. So much so that I am confused by how little I find to enjoy in the rest of his feature output.

Just heard about The Man Who Knew Too Much. I called this a long time ago as a great candidate for release. I've always thought it was better then the Stewart remake.

I dunno how much help it is, but I bolded the ones I love the most, and underlined the ones I like. The rest I either like but don't find essential, or haven't seen. I know I say it over and over again on this thread, but Paris, Texas is my favorite of the bunch and I'd definitely recommend not skipping it over.

...and yes, that's right...I don't really like 8 1/2 very much...

Three Colors (despite Blue's framing issue)

Of those NOT bolded, I'd also recommend:

What's the worst that can happen? If Criterion happens to pull them and put them OOP, I can still buy them within a certain amount of time.

The only ones I REALLY WANT in DVD are Ice Storm and Stranger Than Paradise, but I can only see Stranger Than Paradise being an upgrade.

I can definitely see them upgrading Ice Storm, which is one of the reasons I have held off on buying the Criterion DVD and am just holding onto my Fox DVD for now.
