Also for any Canadians, B&N does charge tax, but it's only GST so you may want to split orders to try to keep them down under 100 in case customs does try to ding you for the difference. It doesn't happen often, but I've heard of a few cases where it did.

It depends on what you mean by most Criterions. A disc can only be as good as the movie, and to me The Game was a decent one-time watch but not something I could ever bother going back to. It's not even IMO one of the best films David Fincher has made - I'd put Se7en and Zodiac in that category, Social Network and Fight Club a rung lower, The Game sits along with Panic Room and the Alien sequel at the back of the class. Which is not bad by any means but if someone is trying to suggest that The Game is as worthy a CC title as, say, High and Low or M (if one considers the thriller genre releases), I'd be rolling my eyes.

If you've never seen the film and are considering it, I'd still recommend it. At the very least it's a great first time watch, and I've enjoyed further viewings. I know it takes away a bit knowing how it all turns out, but it's still a well crafted film with good performances. There's also the people who think that having a David Fincher film in the collection brings the whole line down a bit, but I think those people just need to come to terms with the fact that everything in the world will not always be just for them. |

It was over shortly after it began.
Order 1: Rosemary's Baby In The Mood For Love The Forgiveness of Blood Order 2: The Qatsi Trilogy Brazil Following All BD, of course. As for the November releases, since I had ample Amazon credit to use, I picked up Heaven's Gate, The Trilogy of Life, Weekend and Rashomon. Only $20 out of pocket for all four. I do believe that is a score. Feels nice to be ahead for once and slowly on the verge of catching up on past titles. |

Excellent, excellent! Design for Living was such a pleasant blind buy for me, as it was highly enjoyable and witty. Also, Gary Cooper was very easy on the eyes back in the day, as was Fredric March.
Blow Out's not bad, and Murder a la Mod is fun in an amateur way, but it just doesn't get the same amount of replay as Design for Living of Charade. |

I went with Cul-de-sac, In the Mood for Love, Rosemary's Baby. Since my birthday is coming up I decided to treat myself just this once.
