Picked up Heaven's Gate earlier. I saw it a few years ago on the IFC channel but didn't care for the film. I was in the mood to watch it (and knowing that if I didn't I'd never be in the mood again) so I put it on. Got to the 2-hour mark after the "wallpaper" scene. So far so good, though I don't really understand the Chris Walken character.

Anyone know where the intermission was? Hoping that I at least made it that far. I plan on finishing the rest tomorrow but it may cut into my plans to watch Lawrence of Arabia.

Do you mean the shrink wrap melted to the spine? I thought Criterion sorted this problem; I had to have seven cases replaced for this issue (yes it was that severe!)

Btw, anyone who hasn't had Week Ebd shipped yet, Elmo from B&N tells me that they're experiencing a delay with receiving the new releases and didn't get enough in stock, and will be shipping them out around the 27th. Blame Sandy I guess. And yes, the customer rep was named Elmo.

Yup, both Heaven's Gate and Rosemary's Baby have the bits stuck on the side. Don't think any others recently, but still not cool.
