I'd like to see King of the Hill, which I don't think even got a DVD release. I still have my widescreen laserdisc, though.

I didn't care for either of those, but Wong Kar-Wai's "Fallen Angels" is available, from Kino.

Add: "Happy Together" is also available from Kino. Kino also has a 2-movie set with "Fallen Angels" and "Happy Together."

Anyways, I can only check out one more from the box today, is it fine to skip ahead to Arabian Nights and see Tales later. Is this the recommended route?
Now that we've gotten a chance to look at Pasolini's (eeurgh ) Trilogy, always wondered how it compared to Monty Python's "The Third Test Match":
(Always seemed close but not quite, and they usually saved most of their film venom for Ken Russell jokes.)

Just saw that. The little one looks like James Dean but then they look less and less like him. They also look like Arthur Fonzarelli. And it's pointing to the middle one. Hmm.

No, I don't see it happening either. But the respective commentaries are intriguing in what they suggest was cut. Anyone who hasn't heard the Soderbergh/Dobbs commentary on The Limey is missing out on a very exciting debate on the editing of a film.

Oh well, at least -- if my educated guess is right -- based on the just-posted clue we're in for a release highlighting the earliest, prime and late years in the evolution of Fonzie.

A Lion in Winter? (Starring Peter OToole as Henry II)? Okay, that's really really outside the box. Medium Cool it is.

I recommend one of my favorite Pasolini films Medea to anyone interested.

I can understand. I certainly like the Decameron more than The Canterbury Tales. Here's to hoping Arabian Nights trumps both.

( In The Realm of the Senses remains the best explicit Criterion. )

Great movie but I still prefer Salo and Antichrist.

regarding the clue--personally I was getting psyched for some Happy Days episodes on Criterion.
would have been great to see Fonzie jump the shark in hd.
