I predict they will announce Antonioni's Red Desert since I just imported it from the UK.

Seriously, I do expect them to announce it soon, since we already have an announcement for Godard's Vivre sa vie.

When they release Brakhage Vol 2, they'll certainly release Vol. 1 on Blu as well (blue Dog Star Man in both a newsletter and the big picture).

According to a post on criterionforums.org, likely May BD releases are M, Red Desert, and Walkabout.

I just watched Kagemusha. What a great film! The musical score was really good.

God I hope Walkabout is a May release. I really need to replace the old non-anamorphic dvd of that one. It was probably the one I was most excited about when they made their original blu announcements.

It's tough to say. The guy that posted this says this is based on real info, not just speculation. It's actually leftover titles from a list he posted about a month ago - supposedly all the titles on that list were to be announced in either January and February. Well the others on the list did end up being exactly what was announced in January, so I'm apt to believe M, Walkabout, and Red Desert will be announced soon.

It would be interesting to know just how well their blus are selling. Anyone have actual figures for the Criterion blu-rays? I doubt anyone can get these numbers but heres to hoping.
