Oh my, you just made my day.

I've been wanting to watch my DVD the past few weekends, but I've forced myself to put it aside and just be patient for this release, knowing it would be so worth it.

Eagerly awaiting the review.

Hmmm....not suddenly, but it is thinning. Does that count?

I just cancelled my amazon pre-order. Like you, I prefer not to deal with the hassle and will wait for a corrected disc. And I also have not sent back my White and Carlos discs for replacement. I keep reminding myself i need to send them back, but then keep forgetting to do it.

I just watched my Blu-ray of The Game. I know that I sound like a broken record, but...I'm so glad that I upgraded this movie.

The Game is my favorite Fincher film, through and through.

Glad you enjoyed it! Before I bought the Criterion, I hadn't seen the movie before, but it's one of my favorite Fincher titles.

I still think Se7en is better, but it's a great film nonetheless. The PQ and AQ is fantastic!

I'll second Charade, that was the first thing to come to my mind as well.

Design for Living (very witty and adult in the grown-up sense - it's really no more risque than any of the the more mainstream hayes code screwball romcoms - it just explicitly acknowleges that men and women have sex instead of relying on obvious hints and allusions)

People on Sunday (silent)

Any of the Lean/Coward (Brief Encounter is outstanding)

Niiiice. I've only seen this film once, but damn does it ever leave an impression. As a matter of fact, Cronenberg is almost always better on repeat viewing.

12 Angry Men is a GREAT gateway criterion that should appeal to a large number of people wile making a great introduction for those not accustom to Blanck ad white / classic films. Also the CC edition is stacked with extras.
