The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp is one of those Criterion titles that never grabbed my attention through the years, and my eyes always glazed over it in stores, but I'm intrigued about the film now that I've been reading the current Blu-ray reviews.

I am having trouble picking my day one purchase, this month. I want to pick one, but I am having a hard time deciding between The Life and Death Colonel Blimp and Badlands.

I was wondering what blu ray everyone is going for next week. Great pick great owl.

Agreed. It would be great to get the 10 episodes plus the two extended versions of a Love\Killing". Plus whatever extras they can pull together as well.

I made my way through the final Head supplements last night. Loved the audio-commentary by The (ex?)Monkees. I would have loved it if Criterion could have taken it a step further and included Jack Nicholson, since it sounded like he had a lot to do with the script-writing.
