A paper has just been announced for my Sex and Gender class. We have to examine a film with gender related issues and one of the films on the list is Fish Tank!

I had an elective like that myself...was ok, but was more women-oriented (well there were three guys in the class and about twenty girls so...)

IS there any preferable places you guys buy your criterions from,,atm i only have 3 ( all from amazon),,but seriously looking at getting "Naked Lunch"and "Repo Man",
The last one i bought was Rosemarys Baby,got it for 19.00,,but im not too sure i wanna wait for so long till the price drops..if it drops at all

You probably won't be able to get those two films for less than the $27 price right now...unless you choose to wait.

That's what i was figuring...sod it ,,maybe ill just order one now then the other at a later date ,,with other sales and releases coming up soon,think its best to spread my spending out so it doesn't look too bad on the ol' bank acc lol

That's what I'm planning. I really want both but I'm just going to settle for getting one right now, and getting the other later.

I'm taking a Women's Studies course as an elective. The two courses go hand-in-hand because we talk about the same things practically but get different assignments. I'm one of five guys in the class and there's about 30 girls haha. My Sex and Gender class has a bunch of guys, surprisingly.

I went ahead and cancelled my Amazon order and bought it from B&N full price. I'm now irritated because the only one my B&N had in stock had a creased spine on one side. I'm thinking about re-ordering from Amazon and returning the B&N one if it ever arrives.

If you are speaking of Last Yr at M. It is so hard to find a MINT condition one. I think then the title was first released I went to 3 Barnes & Noble locations before I found the perfect one. You can take your chances and re-order with amazon again and see what they ship you. Don't be surprised if it is only in so/so condition.

I believe during the spring of 2011 I heard it was going OOP. I immediately jumped on the $20 price and haven't looked back. I've only seen it once though.

Yes, poorly worded sorry. I had the same issue with Godzilla from Amazon. A crease in the spine and I look at it every day and shake my head. It literally drives me that crazy. Outside of that all my Criterions are "tip top". It's an eye sore that any sane person wouldnt notice. Thanks for the heads up, I may not even waste my time then.

You should still if you are able take the chance. You can always take the Barnes copy back.
