Ok the first one has actually been on my list to get down the road. As for the second one

It'll be fun to see an Eli Roth feature film again at long last.

I used to own Cabin Fever on DVD until it was destroyed in a flood in 2009, along with several of my other movies. Eli Roth's commentary for that movie is an absolute blast, because the man really does have a genuine love for throwaway horror cinema of the 1970s and early 1980s.

The two Hostel films were fun to see in crowded theaters, because of the audience reactions and because of Roth's crazy twists, but I did not have an inclination to watch them over and over again.

Still, Eli Roth, like Quentin Tarantino, is the sort of person whom I could listen to for hours on end as he raves about various movies.

Yea I love the enthusiasm about movies that Roth and Tarantino display. I like hearing about movie night at Tarantino's place too how he makes themes and gets the trailers that match the theme too.

That's not a bad idea for a different kind of film...but it might make the issues even worse..

Recently started buying CC releases. This week I got Rosemary's Baby, The Game, Seven Samurai and Roshomon (I already had "The Thin Red Line"). Now I'm thinking of Badlands or On the Waterfront. Can anyone tell me a bit about these ? Good, alright, ....?

Absolutely love all of them except for The Game (which doesn't hold up terribly well, however the near field mix is impressive to say th e least).
