But most people agree that Man of Steel wasn't made by a gay man and not informed by their way of thinking. By far my favorite gay film maker is Alejandro Amenabar. And I don't like him because he has a gay perspective or anything of the sort. His films are beautiful and invoke the human condition and its longing. They really don't feel gay at all, unlike Pasolini's or Wachowski's film's (sometimes).

I can't watch gay cinema for gay cinema's sake. It's a lifestyle that I'll never understand and never want to understand. But a gay man representing the truth of life...that I can take and enjoy!
