I wouldn't say that. They just turned down the master provided by Pathe. They could very well get the remastered elements before the DNR was applied, or make their own restoration from other elements. I don't know what their plans are, only that they supposedly turned down the master that was provided to them. Not knowing the specifics of their licensing or contracts, I don't know what their options actually are at this point. I do know, however, that they still want to release it.

Makes sense, I figured the reason they have not released it yet is because of the elements available.

I don't have a 3D TV (But I do have the 2D Blu Ray), and I didn't see it in theaters. Hopefully I'll have enough money for a 3D TV soon. Until then, I'll just have to wait

I emailed about the Three Colors: White replacement disc on July 28, and received a reply from Jon on July 29. I received the $10 gift certificate email a week and half after shipping my disc, and then received the replacement disc three days after that.

Here was his email reply, so you could probably just send the replacement disc without a query, but I felt better emailing first.

We are exchanging the WHITE Blu-ray discs directly from our New
York office. Please send your WHITE disc, disc only please, to my
attention at the address below. With the disc, please include your
email address and postal address. Please do not include any
packaging with your disc. When we receive your disc, we will send you
the corrected copy and a $10 gift certificate to Criterion.com! Thank
you for your patience while we were sorting out this audio
issue! Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns, and thank
you for supporting Criterion!

Considering the topic, it's not that shocking. I mean, maybe an NC-17 rating IS a bit to high, but I can see why they would do it.

Glad I'm not the only one who dug Karen Sisco. I was so sad when they cancelled the show. And I loved Out of Sight.As for Justified, I've got to start watching that show!

I'd definitely suggest watching the first just to make sure you like it, but I'm going to hold off on the rest and enjoy them fresh on Blu. Also want to avoid the absolutely ludicrous amount of commercials Hulu forces you to endure on the free watches.

It's a really memorable film and works on most levels too. I don't regret blind-buying it.
