I enjoyed Greenberg, though my wife hated it. I liked The Squid and the Whale a lot more though.

I've been meaning to rewatch it lately, but we've got a couple of unwatched Blu Ray left, so I was getting to them first. Actually, we're almost done with them until the ten we have in the mail arrive. Maybe we'll get to it really soon?

It's one of my favorite films of the year. It's been nearly a year since I saw it, so my memory isn't too vivid, but the announcement of its inclusion in the collection makes me more excited than nearly any other title this year.

Yeah, I've never seen it. The synopsis of the film never really interested me before, but I enjoyed Greenberg and Frances Ha looks good.

I have no regrets, though, and I knew what I was getting into. I'll write a longer analysis when the movie is over (I just paused it halfway.), but I'm enjoying the experience of watching Le Samourai with no English subtitles more than I expected. It's does not dethrone Hitchcock's Family Plot for the worst Blu-ray transfer award, but, it's still not good. Like that film, though. I still forget about the transfer and simply become immersed in a fun movie after the initial dismay about the picture quality.

I didn't hate it, but I certainly didn't like it.

In short (because I've been over it a lot): I found it trite, entirely on par with the worst of its genre, and dramatically inert due to its insufferable stylistic moments. This is coming from someone that really likes Greenberg and Gerwig.
