Not in the current shabby packaging, I don't. I'm also holding out to see if the other films in that box set get released.

I'm thinking that The 400 Blows may receive a cooler package with the Dual Format changeover, but I do not want to buy the Blu-ray and shell out extra for the replacement plastic case right now.

With my order of:

The War Rooom
Seconds
The Spy Who Came In From The Cold
The Gold Rush
Letter Never Sent
Modern Times

I'm now 4 away from 100 Criterions (unless you don't count Eclipse sets. Then it's 6). I hope I can abstain from hitting triple digits before tomorrow, but I'll probably cave.

Sweet!

Picked up:

The Spy Who Came in From the Cold
Autumn Sonata
Seconds

These are probably three of the most popular titles released lately. I've had these three on my radar for quite some time. I am, however, looking forward to Eyes Without a Face, La Notte, and The Uninvited for October - but none of these are applicable for the flash sale.

Ive seen the film!!!!!! I just wanna compare it to the source material (which should be great considering how critically acclaimed it is).

I used to organise everything by director (if I had three or more titles by the same director), but I now have seperate sections for Criterion, MoC, BFI, Artificial Eye, then everything else. I group directors together within each section though. I also have a whole unit for horror/exploitation which has a small Arrow section.
Actually, I used to have the BILLY unit/s but then I decided to go for the BESTA unit (it is about 7 ft. high) because I liked that it was customized strictly for media (CDs or DVDs) and had less depth than the BILLY.

I like your style with separating films by distributor. Since I don't have a deep collection (only have a couple of Artificial Eye releases and absolutely no MoC titles because I don't use a region-free player), I just go for Criterion and non-Criterion organization.

Oh this Criterion flash sale is simply PERRRRRFECT!

I have about $9 left in store credit to use on their website so I'm just going to use that on ONE single title! Which one? Hmmmmm... check back within the next hour.

Thanks. FWIW, those screencaps look substantially better than the earlier releases (on Wellspring, I believe). I revisited American Soldier recently, and the PQ was appalling by current standards.

Aside from inadvertently ordering one at full price (hope my email will fix that up), looks like it was a good thing I didn't get around to the expiring b2g1 b&n sale for that second helping. Ordered the 4 non-cardboard items I was looking at the other day at half off.

- Try entering the code and hit "update cart" again
- Check to see if the item is in stock (pre-orders are excluded from the sale - no glitch this time )

Entering the INGRID code is important.

Also, Update Cart is important. (Do it once for grins just prior to placing your order and check that all the prices are right. )

Ordered Marketa, Seconds, and Saftey Last, which put me over the edge and got a gift certificate from them for $50. I then went back and got the Rossellini/Bergman set, added Devil's Backbone to avoid paying shipping.
