A Billy Wilder box set would get my pulse racing, that's for sure.

I'll believe it when I see it, though.

I'd pre-order the pre-order of a Billy Wilder set.

I bought Stalag 17 yesterday, and Sunset Boulevard is on its way to me from Amazon, so I guess you could say that I've been in a Wilder frame of mine lately.

It seems like a sick joke, but I like it anyway. That Billy Wilder set sounds incredible. More motivation to save up Viggle points for Barnes & Noble cards.

Not sick, CRAZEE, WACKO, INSANE!!! He used to put one up every month, but he slacked off for a bit. Warden must've reinstated his internets privileges. I for one am happy.

There's a difference between gullible and blindly hopeful. Not much. But there's a difference...

Yea, dude was crazy in the head and/or the membrane.

I moved over the summer, had all my BDs in storage until this month. Now I can buy again...with certain restrictions as we will be adding 2 to our family come January.

But I'm also settled into a new job which gives me time to visit the forums...lol Something I couldn't really do over the summer and towards the end of last school year.

if this is true then I'm stoked for the Billy W set. Wish it had Sunset Blvd or The Apartment but I think other studios have the rights to them.

L'Avventura would seem to be an obvious choice for a blu-ray upgrade, although I'd prefer to own Blow-Up.

Don't know much about this process of speculation, but to say Billy Wilder is under represented is an understatement and also - there are too few Spanish language films in the collection - especially after that streak of great films that came out around the turn of the century.

Ditto. It's not high-brow but I think it's important nonetheless. It definitely seems to have made a huge impression on later generations of entertainers. Joel Hodgson of MST3K, for one.
