2. Psycho (the original slasher flic)
3. Rear Window (the set alone has me in awe)

Like nearly everyone else commenting, I could have easily continued the list with other films I love. One the bubble: North by Northwest and Frenzy.

even if Passion is second tier DePalma, it'll still make my top 20 of this year. Hell, I even love third tier DePalma like Black Dahlia.

Absolutely hate Casualties of War, though. DePalma and corded humanism do not mix.

Torn Curtain, starring Paul Newman and Julie Andrews, and Topaz are both overtly Cold War, but Topaz deals more with the Cuban Missike Crisis era.

The sting of no announcements was soothed somewhat by finding Seconds and Autumn Sonata in my mailbox when I got home tonight but then returned when unwrapping Seconds a piece of the top casing was broken!I swear for all the right things Criterion does, their cases seem more fragile than regular ones from other companies.
