They have hotlinking disabled. Just open a new tab/window and copy the address.

Use their self-service stations if available. The problem with these places is that they'll refuse to give you the prints even if it looks remotely professional. I tried to print one of my wedding pictures that I had taken and fixed in photoshop, and a Walgreens employee refused to sell it.

Just printed out the coupon, it states it is for books only, what a sham! Found the correct coupon, for some reason the one emailed to me from Borders said for books only.

No loss here. The msrp prices on media at Border's is usually hiked up. They have the blu of Dr. Zhivago listed for $42.95, when the msrp is just $35.95. Even if you could use their coupon, you're still not getting a bargin of any kind, and in fact, may actually end up spending more after tax and shipping.

No wonder Borders is now a sinking ship.

While this coupon may prove useless on some regular or catalog titles due to their markup, it does have some worth depending on your taste. Criterion and Kino titles, boxsets, etc. even with their markup can be at pretty decent price after 40% off. For example, the Yojimbo/Sanjuro set which is now $62 on Amazon can be had for $43 plus tax with coupon. Upcoming Kino releases like Happy Together can be had for roughly $17 plus tax, though you'd have to buy something else to get free shipping. Last time, I and several others were able to get Fallen Angels for 16/17 which is still $10 cheaper than I've seen it anywhere else and a Criterion title for $24, which with Amazon's recent price hikes, is a good price.

I ordered Che from Borders...the price was normally $49.99 and with the 40% discount and tax came to just over $33.00. As it was over $25.00, shipping was FREE.

Granted, you won't get it in (2) days like Amazon Prime...but if you're willing to wait about 10 days, you can get free shipping. I would assume that if you have it shipped to their store, that it might get there even quicker.

My wife is a Borders Rewards member, but didn't receive a coupon in her email.

Could you please link where you saw the 40% coupon on BDs on the Borders website?

Thanks!

I have a borders 1 min drive from my house. Criterion titles in the store are MSRP so 40% off MSRP of Criterion is a good a price for one no matter how you slice it.

I do agree that other titels like the one you mentioned do get hiked up excessively. That is why I only use these coupons for Criterion, unless in rare cases like when I got Fallen Angels for $16 :]

Hmm...how about trying this 15% off code at bn.com and compare with the Borders sale and see if the deal is better at bn.com (works for one item):
