I believe so, I didn't do mine last year but the reduction is just a checkout code (If memory serves correctly) so it shouldn't matter.

Ok, that's great. Now I have some narrowing down to do!

Where is Blue Is The Warmest Color $10?

I actually think it will be $12.50. That's at Criterion when they do their flash sale.

if you've only seen the two you mentioned, you have a lot of awesome viewing ahead of you... but you really liked Lifeboat more than Psycho? you sure?
Will the Birds and Rope ever get single releases ?

I've been interested in expanding the directors I watch. I haven't seem anything from Satiyaj Ray or Michelangelo Antonioni and want to explore these two. Not all of their work appeals to me though. Especially Antonioni. However La Notte and Red Desert are ones I'll be getting. Criterion's La Notte gets my money but I'm unsure of which release of Red Desert to get and would like some advice.

They both seem to be excellent releases and I prefer the BFI colour scheme over Criterion's however it's mentioned that the Criterion transfer may be sharper...

On that subject why do Criterion always seem to have a much redder/browner colour scheme for certain titles that have a bluer/greener transfer in Europe? It's bizarre because it's happened multiple times. Examples I can think of off the top of my head are Melville's work, Belle De Jour, Red Desert and Identification of a woman. There may be others but my point is that it's a regular occurance.

Canada Flash Sale

As noted above, I have gone through my "To Buy List" and added the following to my cart in anticipation of the sale:

Summer Hours
The Double Life of Veronique
Elevator to the Gallows
The Great Beauty - (If it does not discount I may still buy due but not direct)
Branded to Kill

I've tried adding titles to cart before but the cart ends up resetting after some time, i guess it has to do with the longevity of the cookies the site sets or something.

All previous flash sales have started at 12pm EST, so it would be safer to add the titles a few hours before that time if you want to order immediately.

I presume too, that whilst the current price for most Blu-rays is $33, during the sale they will retail at the full RRP of $40 and therefore be $20 ?

Righto, I'll see how long they last in the cart The hard part is done anyway, deciding which to buy.

I don't remember if the regular prices go to $40, but the sale usually works with a code you have to put for the discount to apply, so when you use the code the price goes to half of MSRP, so yeah they end up being $20

Titles are always 50% off MSRP, you need $50 for free shipping and they charged me tax last time. It is the best deal outside of the B&N sale to me, because if you order digipacks or box sets they ship them excellently. Last time I ordered 2 box sets and they were pristine when they arrived in tight, secure boxes.

I'm up north in Canada so I get charged shipping regardless of the total

I've done a tally-up and it will come to around CAD$164 for the 6 titles.

Around $28 of shipping? Well at least you should be getting basically a 10% off if you complete the 500 loyalty points, you just have to spend a lot

$9.95 for the first item plus $2.95 for each additional item so $25.

Exchange rate is against me right now too

I recall last time I put the code in too early (before all my items were in the cart?), and one of them did not get the discount. Got an adjustment afterwards, but your post reminded me that I need to be on my toes for this next sale.
