I guess you never can tell. Whichever group is in charge of buying etc for titles has no rhyme or reasoning to title selection.

I think By Brakhage will be cheaper however even if you buy it at Barnes & Noble just with membership, you auto get 10% off plus the additional 10% takes it tp 64.79 Best Buy.com has it at 69.99 which more more than likely be in store price.

I will be buying this in store only since I don't want to get shipped a dented up box set. It has to be mint or I won't buy it.
Print the 40% off coupon for Borders..... probably the best "in store" price you'll get on that set.

I didn't notice any other sellers doing this, but to be honest I didn't think about it and wasn't really paying attention.

My last two orders just got canceled. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

I didn't see one other merchant offering 60-70% + off MSRP prices......... NOT ONE.
Yeah I read that too...I'm glad you looked because I didn't, I was just clicking add to cart as quickly as I can and checked out before they sold out. Well, at the prices we saw, it did seem too good to be true. So, I suppose it gives everyone extra spending money hopefully June or July for the B&N 50% off sale (Which I hope is happening).

Yeah, I read that over at criterionforum.org. Good news, indeed! My Oshima Eclipse set finally shipped from Barnes & Noble today, so I can't wait to get my grubby little hands all over it! "Cruel Story Of Youth" was on TCM not too long ago, as well.

Yeah I caught Cruel Story Of Youth on TCM. I haven't watched my Oshima Eclipse yet, had to watch my M blu to see it in HD yesterday. So will prob get to it tonight.

I wonder what else Criterion got in the release list this year that we don't know about. There are still alot confirmed for this year.

how fantastic!!! and to think, bowie will have TWO of his films out via criterion!

by the way, does anyone know if criterion will ever get to deliver any of ken russell's works (preferably "the devils"), or maybe even peter greenaway's oeuvre...??? i just don't get it why these directors don't have their films out on blu-ray by now....

I did receive

Walkabout

in the mail,

in addition to "Rio Bravo" "The Cowboys" "Falling Down" "Zulu" and "The Italian Job"

All today...... With Summer Hours and "M" arriving yesterday......

I'm already WAY behind in my viewing from doing other stuff around the house........ All those sets would have killed me!! (96 episodes of G.I. Joe would have taken me F O R E V E R )

Did you use a debit card, or Credit Card????

when I logged into my CC account online, it's showing 2 trips to Home Depot from my weekend project (and I made 8 or 9 trips) so I don't have all of my activity up-to-date yet...... and the cancellation email I received said "Your card will not be charged" so I guess I never really spent anything..... just thought I did............. oh well.. Wonder if my card would have revoked my air-line miles

Debit, it hasn't posted it, just has it pending.

I hope your Home Depot project wasn't to build a dvd shelf for all of these orders.
